Having a “Best Veil Contest” game at the bridal shower is a fun activity that can be done individually, or in groups. It makes for a great ice breaker activity, as guests busily work on creating the best veil.
Start collecting enough tulle, ribbons, thread, flowers, sequins and trinkets for the guests at the bridal shower. Put together pretty boxes on each table so guests can share the supplies. You’ll also want to provide thread or glue - if you have a pretty crafty group of friends, consider putting a small glue gun on every table.
Each guest will make their own veil for the bride, which will be voted on by the wedding party for most creative, most beautiful, most crafty, most crazy, most likely to fall apart, etc. The bride models each one as the wedding party judges the entries.
Have little prizes for the winners. This is really cute photo opportunity for the bridal shower and brings the guests into the action.
